In continuation of its strategic institutional engagement at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, the leadership of the National Association of Polytechnic Students North Central Zone extended its courtesy visit to the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the institution.
The visit was led by the Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Ahmed Peter Hassan, CNPS, as part of efforts to reinforce collaboration, acknowledge institutional support, and strengthen working relationships critical to student-focused administration within the Zone.
Appreciation for ICT Leadership and Support
During the engagement, Comrade Ahmed Peter Hassan expressed profound appreciation to the ICT Director for the resilience, dedication, and technical support demonstrated from the inception of the current zonal leadership journey to date. He emphasized that institutional progress—particularly in a digitally evolving academic environment—requires the silent but strategic contributions of ICT professionals who ensure operational efficiency, communication effectiveness, and administrative coordination.
The Coordinator acknowledged that beyond technical assistance, the Directorate provided advisory support, encouragement, and goodwill that contributed significantly to the stability and success of zonal initiatives. He noted that such institutional backing reflects a shared commitment to advancing structured student leadership within the North Central Zone.
Representation by the Head of Software Unit
In the absence of the ICT Director, Mr. Lucky, the youngest Head of the Software Unit at the Polytechnic, represented the Directorate. In his remarks, he conveyed appreciation for the visit and extended best wishes to the Zonal Coordinator and his executive members.
Mr. Lucky commended the leadership vision of the North Central Zone and expressed confidence in the administration’s capacity to deliver a productive and impact-driven tenure. He reaffirmed the ICT Directorate’s goodwill toward initiatives aimed at promoting, protecting, preserving, and defending the interests, social liberties, welfare, and overall well-being of Nigerian polytechnic students across the North Central region and beyond.
He concluded by congratulating Comrade Ahmed Peter Hassan on his leadership role, describing the Coordinator as a focused and determined figure poised to steer the Zone toward measurable progress.
